Abstract
The article reports on the mineral composition and fluxes in suspended particulate matter at the Caspian Sea. Topics discussed include use of automatic deepwater observation stations (AGOS) for monitoring the fluxes of sedimentary matter in the Caspian Sea, use of traditional method to analyze the mineral composition of clays, and control of vertical flux evaluation of minerals in water column by several factors including sedimentary material and its transportation to the sea.
