Charmless hadronic B decays at BABAR.

Abstract
Results are presented for measurements of branching fractions and searches for direct CP violation in rare, charmless, hadronic B decays. The data were collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric e[sup +]e[sup -] collider and consist of about 22.7 million B&Bmacr;pairs. The B mesons are reconstructed in two-body and quasi two-body final states with pions, kaons, η, η', &omega, a[sub 0], K[sup *], and φ resonances. Three-body final states involving p and K[sup *] resonances are also studied. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
