Abstract
Medical Physics Education in Bulgaria (in Bachelor and Master Degree) is performed mainly in Sofia and Plovdiv Universities, which are working in close collaboration with the Medical Universities of Plovdiv and Sofia, the Technical University of Plovdiv and ensure training in different hospitals. During the last 10 years more than 200 students have obtained Master Degree in Medical Physics. They are employed by hospitals (about 50%), producers and dealers of medical equipment. Some of them continue their studies in PhD Degree and perform research at academic institutions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
