Abstract
The article discusses the guidance provided in making choices in gene-binding by RNA-binding proteins through cohesion complexes. It discusses the role of cohesion complexes in binding by coupling with cohesion-loading factor Nipped-B. It also offers information on a research study which analyses the procedure by which cohesion and Nipped-B choose their target genes. Information on the TAR DNA-binding protein's homolog called TBPH and the RNA-binding protein called Lark or RBM4 is provided.
