Abstract
A subsequent adrenal CT demonstrated a pre-contrast density of 44 HU which was deemed suspicious of malignancy; however, a 67% washout on delayed phase imaging was more consistent with an adenoma. Bronchogenic cysts are best seen on MRI and CT scans.6 The MRI appearance of these lesions will have variable signal intensity, dependent on the material contained in the cyst. This case demonstrates that, although unusual, a bronchogenic cyst is a differential diagnosis to consider in the context of a cystic adrenal lesion identified on medical imaging.
