Abstract
The article explores the statistical concept of central limit theorem as foundational concept of statistical inference, in teaching statistics to students. The author shares her experiences of developing a classroom activity, which intends to promote the use of central limit theorem, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing in students. She also cites the mathematical approach for p-value and hands-on mathematical problem solving.
