Abstract
The article offers information related to whistleblower silencing bills, also known as ‘ag-gag bills,' that began to emerge after undercover investigations severely damaged the image of factory farms. Topics discussed include purpose of ag-gag legislation to prevent the investigation of questionable operational practices within factory farms; North Carolina's Property Protection Act, which permits employers to recover damages from an employee who captures video or data from the workplace.
