Abstract
The article explores an ambitious U.S. project aiming to sample over 50 animal species to understand how Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) moves between wildlife and humans, focusing on deer as potential hosts and the implications of viral transmission for both species.
