Abstract
The article discusses research which investigated asymptomatic monkeypox virus (MPVX) infection in subjects presenting for MVA-BN vaccine. The study tested serum samples from subjects for anti-MPXV immunoglobulin G and neutralizing antibodies using immunofluorescence and plaque reduction neutralization tests. It also tested the samples for the presence of anti-MPVX immunoglobulin M and immunoglobulin A, serological markers associated with acute and postacute phases of infection.
