Abstract
The authors discuss the article "Favourable effect of a second hit after 13 weeks in early RA non-responders: the Amsterdam COBRA near-to-target randomised trial" by Hartman et al. Topics include controversy on the position of glucocorticoids in early rheumatoid arthritis (RA) treatment, one of the most studied prognostic factors for clinical response, and implication of the study on early treatment initiation and progressive escalation, tight control and treat-to-target in early arthritis.
