Abstract
The author comments on the works by American authors Kenneth Burke and Neil Postman. He relates his observation after reading Neil Postman's "Bullshit and the Art of Crap-Detection" and his feeling after reading Postman's "Amusing Ourselves to Death." He also describes the writing style of Burke, who was not an academic in the strictest sense.
