Abstract
The article focuses on a premature male infant with penoscrotal hypospadias and bifid scrotum, whose mother had PCOS, chronic hypertension, and superimposed preeclampsia. It discusses the Alternate "Backdoor" Steroidogenesis Pathway in the Placenta and its link to hypospadias, early IUGR, and severe placental dysfunction.
