Abstract
The article discusses research on the higher ploidies in guinea grass. It states that the higher ploidies exhibit characters that is typical of artificially synthesized higher polyploids. It mentions that guinea grass shows high flexibility to tolerate great range of ploidies and can demonstrate elasticity in tolerating the modifications in the patterns of typical seed development.
