Abstract
The article discusses a study which uses multiparameter flow cytometry to analyze distribution of B-cell derived populations in nasopharyngeal and palatine tonsils from patients with respiratory infections. Topics discussed include comparison of the distribution of the different B-cell subsets between patient-paired samples, systematic detection of lymphoid progenitor cells in tonsils and B-cell lineage of lymphoid progenitors found in the Waldeyer's ring
