Abstract
The article discusses several business litigation cases decided from October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013 addressing civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), fraud and misrepresentation and breach of contract. Court cases include Nowak v. Delao of the U.S Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, Gazelle v. U.S Securities and Exchange Commission based on fraud and Kirsten v. John Wiley & Sons Inc. dealing with First-Sale Doctrine of the U.S. Supreme Court.
