Abstract
The article focuses on a study which examined the role of enoxacin in inducing oxidative metabolism and counteracting obesity in adipose tissue and skeletal muscle in miRNA-mediated regulation. Findings of the study contributes to the elucidation of the metabolic effects of fluoroquinolones and acts as proof of principle for the development of therapies aimed at miRNA processing pathway in addressing obesity. Results of the study are discussed. Materials and methods used are described.
