Abstract
The article presents an interview with Jodi Dean. Topics include decolonization exposing the historical violence of slavery and dispossession and the continuing violence of indigenous and racial exclusion in wealthy settler societies; and pushing critical analysis of the interconnections between commerce, slavery and the slave trade, the genocide of indigenous people, the development of capitalism, and white supremacy.
