Abstract
This article summarizes a study conducted in Italy on monkeypox cases. Monkeypox is a sexually transmitted infection that has been a concern, particularly among men who have sex with men. The study aimed to understand the factors associated with disease severity and differences in presentation based on factors such as HIV status and previous vaccination. The study found that the majority of cases were in males and that many cases were initially misdiagnosed. The study also found associations between certain symptoms and factors such as HIV status and smallpox vaccination. The findings contribute to a better understanding of monkeypox and can inform future research and treatment strategies. Additionally, the article includes a table showing the distribution of cutaneous lesions in patients with COVID-19, providing information on the most common and least common locations for lesions. However, it is important to note that this information is based on a specific population and may not be representative of all COVID-19 patients. [Extracted from the article]
