Abstract
The authors suggest to expand intersectional stigma to include place as a level of measurement in HIV prevention research for sexual minority men (SMM) at marginalized intersectional positions. Topics include the use of the concept of spatial stigma in multidisciplinary research, how to fully assess the role of intersectional stigma as a driver of health inequities among SMM, and objectives that must be actualized to achieve the deconstructing and uprooting systems of power and privilege.
