Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the impact of natalizumab monotherapy and interferon beta-1a (IFNβ-1a) in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). The study uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and statistical analysis to determine the effect of natalizumab and IFNβ-1a in multiple sclerosis. Results show that natalizumab can promote remyelination and stabilize demyelination in lesions and normal appearing brain tissue (NABT).
