Abstract
The article presents the discussion on future of genetic testing during pregnancy. Topics include whole exome sequencing and even genome sequencing which in neonatology becoming routine; uncovering other information and physicians having the ability for moving reliably from genotype to phenotype; and influencing the decision whether the patient being a candidate for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
