Abstract
Other technology, such as playing music during cystoscopy, is hypothesized to improve the patient experience [5], and image sharing may present another way in which an uncomfortable and unfamiliar procedure can be demystified for the benefit of the patient. Since the development of the video computer chip in the 1980s, endoscopic technology has revolutionized medical diagnosis and treatment with images of internal body cavities able to be magnified and projected onto television screens in real time [1]. The specialty of urology relies heavily on endoscopic technology, with cystoscopy being the "gold standard" for the diagnosis of a wide range of urological pathologies. [Extracted from the article]
