Abstract
The article presents information on a study related to the high grade serous ovarian cancers that are a distinct histological subtype of ovarian cancer. It informs that the cancer is characterized by a dysfunctional BRCA/Fanconi anaemia (BRCA/FA) pathway, which is critical to the homologous recombination DNA repair machinery. It further informs that the methylation was investigated in 92 high-grade serous ovarian cancer samples.
