Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the rearrangement of myeloid/lymphoid leukemia (MLL) and MLLT10 fusion gene in pediatric patients with acute myelogeneous leukemia (AML). It says that paired-end sequencing was used to detect the pattern of molecular rearrangement and other related chromosomes. Findings reveal several structural variants in leukemic subjects and confirm the MLL/MLLT10 breakpoint in some patients using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and capillary sequencing.
