With the rising prevalence of MRSA, it may be important to consider an alternate empiric therapy for patients with a history of MRSA to increase efficacy of treatment. 279 scrapes had a single organism isolated, 85 had 2 organisms, 23 had 3 organisms, and 3 scrapes had 4 organisms isolated.
