Abstract
The article discusses the quantification of clusterin (ApoJ) in paired plasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD). The role of clustering in Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathology is discussed. Four different antibodies in their ability to detect recombinant clusterin and immune-purified human clusterin are compared. A clusterin ELISA to measure CSF and plasma clusterin concentrations was developed.
