Abstract
The article presents a study that investigates the risk factors correlated with Clostridium difficile infection of cancer patients who have febrile neutropenia in the U.S. Researchers evaluated the patients admitted between January 2005 to December 2009. They found that exposure of patients to levofloxacin and cefepime increase their risk of infection.
