Examines the longitudinal prediction of emotional availability in mother-child interaction during middle childhood from two indicators of socioemotional functioning in infancy: security of infant-mother attachment and maternal depressive symptoms. Link between infancy and middle childhood socioemotional organization; Maternal sensitivity and structuring.
