Abstract
The article focuses on hybrid atrial fibrillation ablations and its importance in hybrid cardiovascular laboratory operating room. Topics discussed include development of electrophysiology and catheterization laboratories, use of electrophysiologic mapping for treatment of arrhythmia, need for anesthesia in hybrid atrial fibrillation ablation, cost of construction of a hybrid operating room, and lack of space for hybrid operating rooms in hospitals.
