Abstract
The article discusses the development of hybrid procedures in the Debakey I dissection in cardiovascular surgery. It warns about the life-threatening complications of acute aortic dissection. It recommends a technique that offers early thrombosis of the patent false lumen in the descending aorta of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
