Abstract
This article discusses the use of combined endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) and endoscopic ultrasound-guided tissue acquisition (EUS-TA) for the diagnosis and staging of mediastinal lymph nodes (MLN) in lung cancer. The study found that the combined procedure had a higher accuracy and sensitivity compared to EBUS-TBNA and EUS-TA alone. The combined procedure had a correct diagnosis rate of 94% and a staging accuracy rate of 85%. These findings suggest that the combined EBUS-EUS approach is a more effective method for diagnosing and staging lung cancer. [Extracted from the article]
