Abstract
The article describes the features of the residential facility of Hillside Family of Agencies, a family and children services organization that provides mental health care services in more than 40 locations across 24 counties in central and western New York. A $1 million donation from an anonymous benefactor allowed Hillside to develop a residential cottage design. The cottage provides an enhanced therapeutic environment.
