Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 51-year-old black male suffering from delayed onset of Leber's Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON). The patient complained of loss of central vision in both eyes, and decreased color vision. His uncorrected entering visual acuity measured 20/400 O.D and 10/400 O.S.; and intraocular pressure measured 22mm Hg O.D. and 17mm Hg O.S. Optical coherence tomography revealed thinning of the inferior and superior temporal quadrants.
