Abstract
The Kenya Trypanosomiasis Research Institute (KETRI) has established a cryobank to support research on trypanosomiasis, a neglected tropical disease. The cryobank contains over 2,000 trypanosome stabilates collected from various sources, including humans, animals, and tsetse flies. The data stored in the cryobank is categorized and accessible through the KETRI website. The cryobank is a valuable resource for research on trypanosomiasis and aims to encourage other institutions in trypanosomiasis-endemic areas to collect and preserve trypanosome isolates for future research.
