This article presents a study to determine some important physicochemical characteristics of a series of 1,4-benzodiazepine derivatives and to establish relationships between these values and the parameters of pharmacokinetics of these compounds in rats. The pharmacokinetics of 1,4-benzodiazepine derivatives was studied in a group of mongrel rats weighing 200 to 220 g. The drugs and their metabolites in the form of aqueous suspensions were introduced via gastric tube. The blood samples were taken from animals decapitated at various times within a 48-h period after drug administration.
