Abstract
This article discusses the current state of training in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) worldwide. The authors conducted a survey among EUS trainees under the age of 40 to gather data on training modalities, educational lacks, and trainees' expectations. The results showed that EUS training varies across different regions and does not always align with the recommended standards set by American and European societies for endoscopy. The survey also highlighted the need for more hands-on procedures and training in therapeutic EUS. The authors suggest further discussion on whether basic EUS training should include an initial approach to therapeutic EUS. [Extracted from the article]
