Abstract
The author discusses issues concerning the taxation policy in Canada. He provides an overview of the country's total tax revenue to gross domestic product (GDP) ratio which is 31%, which is smaller compared to the total tax revenue to GDP of 30 countries presented by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. He also discusses Canada's public spending.
