Abstract
The article reflects on the commercial ramifications of resolving international law disputes in the Arctic, increased environmental regulation in Arctic regions. It mentions that role of customary international law, treaties that are in effect and disputes of maritime boundaries between the U.S., Canada and Russia with the nuances of the Arctic international law. It also mentions that necessity of resolving these disputes expeditiously so that increased commercial traffic in Arctic region.
