Abstract
Dear Editor, A 59-year-old Japanese male was referred to the department of hematology in our hospital because of leukocytosis and abnormal lymphocytes unexpectedly found on laboratory examination. Although most secondary FM is associated with MF, the above findings and the fact that skin lesions disappeared after FCM chemotherapy supported the diagnosis of T-PLL with FM. Complete blood count showed white blood cells (WBC) 23.7 × 10 SP 9 sp /l, lymphocytes 0.55 × 10 SP 9 sp /l, and abnormal lymphocytes 12.8 × 10 SP 9 sp /l. He was suspected of chronic lymphocytic leukemia by flow cytometric analysis of blood. [Extracted from the article]
