Abstract
The article discusses guidelines approved and endorsed by the Saudi Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and Transplantation (SASLT) whose aim is to improve Hepatitis C virus (HCV) patient care in the Kingdom and provided recommended approaches to treatment HCV with the new direct-acting antiviral treatment. The goals of the guidelines include complementing previous SASLT guidelines in the management of hepatitis C in Saudi Arabia.
