Abstract
The article focuses on the use of internet for gathering information related to health issues which may sometimes not be accurate and factual. Topics include information on the Health on the Net Foundation Code of Conduct (HONcode), which offers users a reliable measure of credibility when web searching health information websites; information on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Patient Involvement website; and information on the MedlinePlus online information service.
