Abstract
In comparison with the sea shipping, systematic pollution of the sea by oil seems insignificant under oil-and-gas field engineering. Measurements of the viscosity of reservoir waters by remote capillary in the temperature interval of (298.15 to 598.15) °K and the pressure of (0.1 to 40) MPa are reported. The relative uncertainty in the viscosity does not exceed ± 1.8 %. An equation describing viscosity of the studied reservoir waters and the dependence with the mineralization, pressure and temperatures is given. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
