Abstract
Breast cancer is a leading cause of cancer deaths in females in the UK. Distant metastases are the commonest cause of death and the lung, liver and bones are the most common sites. Metastases to the gastrointestinal (GI) tract are rare with colonic metastases even rarer and as such may pose a diagnostic challenge. They are much less common than primary intestinal tumours. Here, we report an interesting case of a patient who presented with colonic metastasis over six years following treatment of a breast carcinoma. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
