Abstract
The article offers a study which depicts the differences and the implications of using the World Health Organization (WHO) child growth standards on children in Saudi Arabia. According to the article, the use of WHO standards increase the prevalence of undernutrition, stunting, and wasting. It is stated that clear guidelines must be developed by WHO experts to guide clinicians in the appropriate use of the standards in identifying prevalence and assessing children growth.
