Abstract
The article focuses on hypercoagulable in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) state. It also discusses information on involvement of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the pathogenesis of GDM. The research found the only indicator of a tendency towards hypercoagulability is the higher fibrinogen levels as compared to normal pregnancy.
