Abstract
In-clinic Urticaria Activity Score (UAS) and Urticaria Control Test (UCT) were scored by the physician on the day of enrolment.2-4 All patients were also asked to fill in the Chronic Urticaria Quality of Life Questionnaire (CU-Q SB 2 sb oL),5 Internalized Stigmatization Scale (ISS),1 Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Perceived Health Question (PHQ) and General Health Questionnaire (GHQ).6 Exclusion criteria were being younger than 18 years of age, having a known history of psychiatric illness and being illiterate. 5 c There were significant correlations between ISS-total scores and UCT, UAS, VAS-pruritus, CU-Q2Ol, GHQ and PHQ. As a conclusion, our results showed that patients with CU experience high IS, especially in patients without good control of the disease. [Extracted from the article]
