Abstract
During 2020–2021, powdery mildew symptoms were observed on leaves of the Artemisia absinthium and Sonchus oleraceus (Asteraceae) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The phylogenetic relationship of the genus Golovinomyces based on ITS sequences was investigated. After morpho-anatomical and molecular analyses, the causal agents were identified as Golovinomyces artemisiae and G. sonchicola, as new records for Pakistan. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
