Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the functions of adipose tissue. The study revealed that adipose tissue-derived stem cells can be exploited to differentiate into various cell types, including neural cells and cardiomyocytes in regenerative medicine through an autologous adult stem cell therapy from an extremely accessible source of subcutaneous adipose tissue.
