Abstract
The article presents the proceedings of an October 2004 Workshop on Enhancing Middle East Climate Change Monitoring and Indices in Alanya, Turkey. The workshop sought to address the Middle Eastern Region from Turkey to Iran, and from Georgia to the Arabian Peninsula. The workshop was hosted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) with the World Climate Research Program (WCRP).
