Abstract
An analysis of the equilibrium constants involved in Ca(super 2+)-linked association of human complement subcomponents Cls and Clr reveals that dimeric Clr binds two Cls molecules at low and high Ca(super 2+) concentrations. The reaction's association constant increases with increases in Ca(super 2+) concentrations. Studies of Clr and Cls equilibria should account for different association states.
